Thanksgiving Festivities..

Well, this holiday started off with a bang!  There were tons of art projects and feasts at school..

 which were quickly followed by lots of prep..

 This year's contributions were tons of pies..cherry, apple, pumpkin, banana cream, and chocolate cream!

 After several hours of pie making, Daddy rigged up the COOLEST pie carrier. They all made it safely to Idaho City! Nana gave me a new rolling pin, so oddly I'm anxious to try another one.

 Before we went up the hill, we spent the morning at Nana's house.  We had a yummy breakfast that I tried for the first time.  It was Baked Cinnamon French Toast, YUM-O!  We also watched A Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving.  So fun!

We colored pictures, and

 played videogames with our cute little cousin Hailey.

 

It was fun to have Daddy, and Uncle Aaron, and Nana all together!

 There was one little hiccup..Abryn thought it would be funny to put dry dog poop on Austin's coat, so naturally his punishment was to pick up all the droppings in the yard.  Hilarious!  He was really happy about me taking this pictures too.

 After that, it was time to head up to Grandma and Grandpa's house for the big meal! Everyone was in different places this year, but Uncle Matt and Aunt Erin were there too.  The kids table is always the BEST!!

 Grandpa was lucky enough to sport a special pilgrim hat the was made for him by Ezra.  Lookin' good!

 Appropriately, dinner was followed by lots, and lots, and lots of wrestling!  Look at these tough guys!

 And poor Amiah, only girl, needed a little part of the action too!

 After we wore the little people out, they went down for a nap (Daddy joined them in slumber).  My kids asked Grandma to show them how to crochet!  I thought..this will last momentarily...but to my surprise...

 They loved it!!

 And Austin continued for hours!  You should see how long his chain was!  Wow!

 And sister gave it a go too..

 There was a brief, and entertaining game of Uno Attack..they love it when it spits cards AT them! :)

Abryn only lasted a second...when Dad offered to start the first steps of his Pinewood Derby car in Grandpa's garage.  Awesome! 

The little ones took a trip to Great Aunt Dorinda's house too.  While there, after only one decent meal earlier in the day, they decided to fill up on chocolate.  Lots and lots of it too. We said our goodbyes, cleaned and packed up, and headed home.  We completed the night with 3 upset bellies because of all the junk, and 2 barfing sessions.  After three sleeping little people, and lots of cleaning up, Andrew and I settled in.  What a day!  Bring on the Christmas...
