Nana comes to visit!!

We had a fun weekend...Nana came for a visit from Las Vegas! It was kind of a busy weekend, but it was SO worth it. We got her all to ourselves for the first day and a half (Daddy had to work), but after that we all spent time together.
Thursday night, we went to Abryn's last game and tee ball awards cerem0ny...okay...so all the little guys got the same dang thing! But still, let me tell you about the pride that comes with a little plastic trophy with your name on it! The Coach told everyone how much he appreciated Abryn's enthusiam to play any position. He was one of their "versatile" players. He was all smiles, it was pretty cute. He was embarrased though, so he pulled a few silly faces while he was in front of everyone. Isn't he handsome though?
Friday Nana got to see all of our silly daily things that we do. But, when Daddy got home, we got to actually treat HER to a special dinner! She always treats us, but we got to do it for her this time. It was nice to return the favor. We had.....mmm........scrumptious Olive Garden!

Saturday, we had a lazy morning, I took the kids (unsuccesfully) to the Farmers Market downtown so Daddy and Nana could have some quality time together, but it wasn't worth the workout! Next time, I go solo! Then, we had Cracker Barrell for dinner, and retired for the night. Kids were up late every night, and the grown ups watched a movie each night after we put them down. Sunday (this morning) I could barely pry Daddy away from her car door. :) He really didn't want to say goodbye. The kids wanted her to stick around pretty bad too. We had lots of fun. She's a big kid at heart, and teases pretty good! Thanks for a fun weekend Nana.....hope to see you soon!
