So we decided that we were going to try and ride down Federal Way to catch the balloons from the Spirit of Boise in the air Saturday morning....BUT....we were a day late and a dollar short! Oh well. It turned out to be just a great family 2 hour bike ride. And yes, we made it the whole way! We went down Federal Way, all the way passed Joanns and the Boradway turn off, and then came back up. We stopped at Maverick on the way for a doughnut and a Gatorade. I was SO impressed with my kids. They pumped their little noodle legs up those hills, and without complaining! Whoa! As you can see, they were pretty pooped when we got home. :)
And yes, they totally left me in their dust. (Although I did make it up without walking too.)
