So we're trying to squeeze as much fun as possible into these last few weeks of summer. The kids had passes to go ice skating, so that's what we did for family day. It was pure comic relief to say the least. Dad lasted one entire lap around the rink...poor guy...his ankles were killing him. But he didn't fall at all!! (Almost though.) Abyrn was pretty good...he got pretty fast, and only smacked his head once to the point of bleeding. But like a trooper, picked up and did it again. Austin, well poor Austin, he's just not as coordinated. It was all he could do to stay on his two feet. Amiah on the other hand, didn't fall hardly at all. Her pants were the LEAST wet at the end of the adventure. It was fun, but boy were they tired after an hour. (And they're a little sore this morning.)
