Primary Pancake Breakfast

This morning the kids got to attend their annual primary pancake breakfast. Each year they get to have breakfast with their new class and meet their teacher while in their jammies. This year was just as great as last, but this year we have surpassed a NEW milestone. We are officially nursery free. While it kinda made me sad, it also excites me to think that they're getting bigger and we can do more things. There will never be a Heath in nursery again. Whoa! Abryn is 6 turning 7 this year, and has a lot of girls in his class. Austin is 4 turning 5 this year, and gets to be in class with his best buddy Mark Steadman. And Amiah....well....where do I start? She is so ecstatic to be a Sunbeam that it's not funny! She ran around all morning telling everyone that she was in primary now, it was next to impossible to stay seated. She hugged all the leaders, and was so very proud of her new Book of Mormon. She didn't care about pancakes all that much, though she did help herself to a plate full of chocolate chips. Austin (my little dude) was the last kid in the gym, still eating ANOTHER helping of chocolate chip pancakes. I love it! They are so happy, and I'm so proud of them. They have such sweet little spirits, and giant testimonies. They never cease to amaze me with how kind hearted they CAN be. (Emphasis on can...it's only on their timetable of course.) This year is starting off right.
